The golfer is in Africa at a rugged course that requires a local caddy. As they are getting ready the golfer notices the caddy put a rifle in the bag and asks what it is for. The caddy replies, "Just a precaution, sir."
Halfway down the second fairway a lion comes racing out of the bushes. The caddy pulls the rifle from the bag and shoots the lion dead. When the astonished golfer asks what happened, the caddy replies" Don't worry, it's just a precaution, sir."
On the 8th green, when a rhinocerous charges at the golfer, the caddy quickly shoots it dead. Again the same comments as the caddy casually puts the rifle back in the bag.
Finally on the short 14th hole the golfer is putting when a crocodile latches onto his leg and starts dragging him away toward the marsh. He yells out to the caddy to grab the rifle and shoot the croc.
"Sorry, sir," the caddy calmly explains, "You don't get a shot on this hole."
